MIKE MORGAN #63 NEW YORK YANKEES GAME JERSEY 1981 (ST?) 'The Nomad' 'Mo-Man'

Morgan was in Spring Training with the Yankees in '81 and spent the season pitching for the Nashville Sounds, before returning to the Major League team in 1982. I'm guessing this was either a Spring Training Jersey, an alternate jersey worn by the Sounds players or possibly a jersey prepared for Morgan should be be called up during the year.
A native of Tulare, California, Mike Morgan was selected in Round 1 of the 1978 MLB Amateur Draft by the Oakland A's and pitched for the Major League team that same year, going directly from high school to the Majors. He subsequently pitched for - pretty much everybody. The New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Minnesota Twins, Texas Rangers, Arizona Diamondbacks and numerous minor league teams.
