    A native of Dallas Texas, Mike Bacsik went to school in Duncanville, was selected in Round 18 of the MLB Amateur Draft in 1996 by the Cleveland Indians and reached the Major Leagues in 2001. He pitched for the New York Mets in 2002 and 2003, for Texas Rangers in 2004, and for the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in 2005. Bacsik pitched for the Arizona Diamondbacks' Triple-A affiliate, the Tucson Sidewinders, in 2006 and for Team U.S.A. He pitched for the Washington Nationals in 2007 and 2008 and for the Fort Worth Cats of the independent American Association in 2011.
    Mike Bacsik was the pitcher who gave up Barry Bonds' 756th career home run on August 7, 2007. He is currently working as a radio host.
