    Description

    The El Centro Imperials originally played as an independent professional baseball team from 1947 to 1952. The Imperials were revived in 2009 as one of the charter members of the new Arizona Summer League, an affiliate of the Golden Baseball League. That team was managed by former Los Angels Dodger player Mike Marshall.
