traditional handmade arabic lute Oud from the
cedar wood
made by well known egyptian luthier Khaled Azooz.
The Oud is the stringed instrument with short neck without the frets and round bottom. It is similar to modern lute and it is common in different areas and traditions in Eastern Europe, Greek, Mesopotamia, Egypt and Middle East. This particular instrument has 11 strings, tuned: D2, G2, A2, D3, G3, C4. The lowest bottom string is single, the rest of the strings are in couple.
