This is a very rare Chicago Flexible Shaft Co. Stewart Chicago Clipper for sheep wool. This would be used on the farm back in the day and a very prominent farming tool for wool harvesting. This tool very easily and quickly would shear sheep at the turn of a handle. It was a great innovation and looks to have a precursor blade to modern day electric hair clippers.
