Antique Framed Embroidery - Winter Of 1949 By Aryear Gregory - MINT!
Beautifully done and all by hand.
Professionally framed.
Embroidery is of a docked ship named 'BELLE' with a beautiful figurehead of a woman and a large black anchor.
On land are two Victorian women.
One woman has her arm around her little daughter and his holding a sun umbrella.  She is standing next to her husband who is in an Abraham Lincoln top hat.
The other woman is clapping as her child is performing with ribbons.
There is also a man walking by with bags of flour over his shoulder.
In the back ground you can see six more men working.  Three on the Belle and three on the sand.
Frame looks to be walnut and measures:  15" x 13 3/8"
