    I have a brand new in the box Communication Power Solutions OSD308 Smoke Detector with Alarm (Alternative Replacement for the OSD223).
    The OSD308 is a self-diagnostic, photoelectric, four wire smoke detector that continuously monitors its own sensitivity and operational status.  It provides a visual trouble indication if it drifts out of sensitivity range or fails internal diagnostics.  This unique, patented technology meets NFPA 72 field sensitivity testing requirements without the need for external meters.
