Offered here is a game used / game worn jersey from former Houston Astro L.J. Hoes. This home white Majestic CoolBase jersey dates to the 2014 MLB Season! This was worn during the 2014 Civil Rights Game on 5/30/2014 vs. the Orioles. These very rare Houston Eagles jerseys were worn that night in honor of the Negro League team that played in Houston from 1949 - 1950 and was the only Texas team in Negro League history.
The jersey is a size 46 and features the 2014 Civil Rights Game patch on the sleeve.  Everything is 100% original to the jersey, with no alterations of any kind. It includes the important "63TB" wash tag code, which designates that it was issued to the team (TB for "throwback") and not available for retail purchase. It also has the team jock tag on the front as well.
The jersey remains completely unwashed from the game! Hoes did not see any action in the game, but was in full uniform on the bench. Hoes later changed from #28 to #0 days later, in order to accommodate the call-up of Jon Singleton. I have added some photos of the Astros wearing these jerseys during the game. This is a very hard to find style!!
This jersey was purchased directly from the Houston Astros and the Astros Authentic Program. It is guaranteed authentic for life! It is also MLB Authenticated and the authentication sequence can be viewed in the photos.
